| An Introductory Letter to Applicants for Membership |
White Oak Rod and Gun Club, Inc. is a 501(c) (7) non-profit corporation managed by an elected board of directors, with facilities that are on par or better than any club in the area and, we, the members, consistently strive to maintain and improve them.
EVERY MEMBER IS REQUIRED TO SERVE A ONE (1) YEAR PROBATION PERIOD. DURING THIS PERIOD, EACH NEW MEMBER IS REQUIRED TO SERVE ON A COMMITTEE OR PARTICIPATE IN THREE (3) FOUR (4) HOUR WORK DAYS OR BUY EACH WORK DAY AT A CHARGE OF FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00) PER DAY.
It will be a benefit to both the member and the club to actively participate, as you will get better insight to the workings of the organization, become aquatinted with fellow members and very possibly come up with some new and better ideas on club operations.
The Board of Directors or Chairpersons of specific committees or events schedule workdays, at this time. Records are kept to ensure proper credit or assessment.
Committees and their functions are as listed:

This committee is responsible to oversee the financial condition of the club, audit records, explore and recommend means of raising funds and consult with the Trustees and chairpersons regarding the income and expenses of the various committees.

Also, on large projects all members are requested to work with the committees to ensure timely completion.
