Paintball is a healthy extreme sport that almost anyone can play. Which is a lot more rare than most people realize; there are relatively few sports that include everyone.
Club sports and varsity teams exclude way too many people. And it can be depressing to hear you didn’t make the team over and over again. And for many people, sports teams have constantly given them the cold shoulder. This is especially true in high school for many people. And constant rejection can lead to nothing but absolute misery. Well that is not good, but there is a cure….. Paintball.

I understand underground gambling and underground street racing (though illegal), but when underground fight clubs are formed for the sole purpose of college and high school aged students beating each other senseless, I think the line has been crossed as an intelligent, respectable society.
Similar to the popular movie Fight Club, these hidden groups of America’s children and youth are forming groups and battling in homes, schools and parks. Usually, these kids aren’t even using gloves. They are putting on their clothes, balance bracelets and shoes, throwing the backpack over their shoulder then going to school. After school, is when the problems arise. Generally speaking, parents of America allow their children to watch violent movies and play crime-filled video games like Grand Theft Auto, but did they ever have any thought that maybe their child may act out in this kind of abusive manner

The idea of a college athlete that most people think about is a Division I NCAA football player who will have to turn down a draft pick to join the NFL to finish his senior year. Strangely enough, most college athletes are not going to school on a scholarship or going to continue as an athlete after graduating. In fact, most college athletes pay more attention to grades than points on the fields, but most college athletics funding goes to the Division I teams who’s every game and practice makes national television.
With the fame, goes most of the funding. However, there are many ways for college club sports teams to conduct a successful season without requiring the student athletes to take a part-time job to pay for the costs associated with a club sports team. The majority of these costs, which can run thousands of dollars per player, often lands on the shoulders of the team members themselves they can either pay for them or find sponsors. Consider the costs of flying 3 round trips cross country flights and lodging for three days in a hotel. Now add on top of that the cost of uniforms, equipment, and part time coach, and these costs run very steep. This is why most college club sports teams should have a sponsor!
